Volunteering SA&NT (with Australian Volunteers International)

Oodnadatta is a remote South Australian community that experiences considerable disadvantage. The Aboriginal Volunteer Program is a partnership between the community of Oodnadatta, Volunteering SA&NT and Australian Volunteers International. The youth-led volunteering program enables Indigenous young people to volunteer and live in an Aboriginal community, supporting the Oodnadatta Aboriginal School, the Aboriginal Arts and Crafts Collective or other projects decided by local community members. The Broadley Trust contributed funds towards the 2016 and 2017 volunteer placements and the completion of a report on results.
